Flash Back!

Okay it hasn't been that long since these pictures were taken but I haven't posted as frequently as I would like to so I need to catch up.

Oliver loves this Spider Man puzzle. It is pretty big and actually really tricky to put together. After it was done he kept posing by the puzzle and trying to do the same position. He's such a fun little kids. He always makes me laugh!

This is our little one throwing a fit. I'm not sure you can completely tell what she is doing but she always covers her mouth or her eyes with her hands when she cries. She was fake crying and covering her mouth while standing against the wall. SO SAD!!!
Grandma and Grandpa Adams had a special day with Sabree and Gracie (cousin - 5 yrs old) over the holidays. We dropped them off at the mushroom farm (Grandpa's work) and he took the girls home. We had Ellie come to our house and have a special day at our house.

The older girls loading up and excited to spend time with their Grandparents. Sabree still talks about their sleepover and outing all the time. They got to watch a movie (Horton Hears a Who)and have popcorn and then read lots of books. The next day they got up and went up North with Grandma. First they went to a quick doctors appointment with Grandma then went to lunch. After having pizza they got to go to a movie theater and watch Marley and Me and eat lots of popcorn. They felt so special and had such a great time. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa. We feel so lucky to live so close and have you as Grandparents!!!

This girl ALWAYS has bed head! The thing that makes this picture so funny is the red eye that goes so well with the hairdo! She is such a doll!

Moving Again!!!

It's true, we're moving again! I starting packing on Monday and finished yesterday. I decided I should probably starting a packing company because I have become quite efficient! It comes with lots of practice! I could not have been as efficient if it wasn't for all the help that I had with the kids. Thank you Mom, Jenell and Lorna. It would have been so much harder without your hours of service. I really appreciate you guys!

For those of you who don't already know, we are moving to Fillmore. It is about 10 minutes North of Kanosh. We are excited to be in the "big city" with family and friends. Luckily it is not too far from Kanosh so we will still get to have our Kanosh friends too. We have really made some great friends and appreciate all of them!

9 Years!!!

Here's the post that I should have done on January 4th. It was our 9 year anniversary. I'm so grateful to be married to Luke for time and all eternity. He is really, such a good husband. He has always treated me with such love and respect. I really feel spoiled. He never hesitates to let me have a girls night out, he never questions my decisions (or spending!!!), he still always opens my door for me, he will drop anything he's doing if I need his help, he's a great listener, he's a worthy Priesthood holder, he's a great dad, he works hard...the list is endless. Our wedding day (after getting ready, I'll tell the story at the end) was flawless. We were so happy and so in love. The greatest part is that I love Luke even more now. He is my best friend. I know that he will always be there for me! I love you Luke!
I think I pulled a muscle in my back after picking Luke up that day. It didn't help that it was FREEZING! Notice his socks...he forgot to bring black socks with him. You can see his socks several pictures from that day. Funny kid!
I'm not going to tell you what I was saying!!!

This was after the luncheon. My sister Jill decorated the car. She did an awesome job. We were still cleaning out confetti in the car right before we sold it a year later.
Okay, so the getting ready story...I had made a hair appointment with an awesome hair stylist about 3 months in advance and had forgotten about the appointment until someone called to remind me the day before the wedding. I didn't get the message until about 10:00 p.m. and I had booked another hair stylist to do my hair at about 6:00 a.m. It was too late at night to call and cancel the 6:00 appointment with this other lady, plus I thought she would be fine. So, I went to the appointment that morning. I had asked her to do a simple up do with some curls. Seems like no big deal but by about 7:00 she was no where near done. She had failed several attempts to put my hair up. Finally she had it all pinned in place but was still working frantically while time kept passing. It was about 7:30 when she dropped the curling iron and burned my face. At this point I was already worried after watching my moms horrified face for the past hour and a half and now I had a burn on my face, on my wedding day! I got up to go look at my hair and it was awful. Half my hair was flat and the other half poofy. Half the curls were kinky and half would have been flat after an hour. I gathered my things and was going to quickly shower and do my own hair until I remembered the other appointment that started at 8:00. I rushed over and as I walked through the door Darcy's (the stylist) jaw dropped and she says, "What have you done to your hair?" Of course, the tears started flowing and she got to work. She did the best she could with the mess she had to work and the very limited time she had to fix it. I'm so glad I had that appointment though, I left happy!

"Crappy" Day

If you are easily disgusted by a diaper blowout, stop reading now!!!

Today, I put Jaylee down for an afternoon nap. She was not going falling asleep but seriously needed to. I let her fuss and whine in bed for about an hour then finally decided I should go in and at least get her binki back in her mouth. The second I walked in the room I could smell that she had messed in her diaper...it was bad!!! I picked her up and it was all up her back and now on my hands. Then I started noticing, it was in her hair, on her face, all over the sheets and blankets. It was on ever little pole of her crib and some even ended up on the floor. Whatever I have seen in the past with my other kids...this topped it 100 times!!! Then, of course she does her fake crying when I pick her up. She fake sobs with her hands over her mouth or sometimes over her eyes. It's really cute actually unless her hands are covered in poop! I was hysterical and dry heaving! I took her straight to the tub, holding her at arms length, of course. By the time she was cleaned up enough to get in the tub I had it all over me. What a day! It took a long time to clean up.

After dinner I had to bathe the other 2 kids and Jaylee wants to take another bath (she loves the tub). I get her undressed and take off her diaper and she pees all over me! Then she looks at me with the funniest grin and crunched up nose. I couldn't help but laugh! So the next time you think you're having a crappy day, don't forget that mine tops them all (not to mention the fact that Luke is out of town)!!! Oh the things that you do for the cute kids that you love!
