Shaking up California!

Luke is in California this week for business and experienced a 5.4 earthquake. He says it was "WILD". I, on the other hand, received a text from him that he was in an earthquake and was unable to get a hold of him because all phone lines were jammed. Needless to say I was panicking a little bit. He was 20 miles from where the earthquake was so he felt the intensity of the shaking. Thankfully, the earthquake seems to have done very little damage and only a few injuries were reported. Luke is doing great!

At home, in Kanosh (with no car), we have been super busy! The kids spent an hour in the bathtub and came out looking like raisins. They love to play in the tub. By the end of the bath Jaylee had spiky hair and letters plastered all over her! The kids sure do keep things interesting!

July 25th

Sabree's birthday is coming up so yesterday we had a Mother/Daughter date. We spent the day together shopping for school clothes. I can't believe that she's going to be in first grade. She's so excited to ride the bus and eat lunch at school. She's such a good girl. We had a great afternoon together. That evening our family went to see the Orem Owlz play. Oliver was the first little boy to go through the gates with a baseball mitt so they gave him a home run ball! Of course, he thought he was the most important person at that game! I wish everyday could be filled with family time!

July 24th

For all of you who don't already know, Kanosh is the place to be on the 24th. We had an awesome parade in the morning followed by an art show, talent show, and then free lunch in the park; however, our favorite part of the day was dinner in the park and dancing after. We danced from 8:00-10:30 p.m. Our kids loved it! Sabree and Oliver danced all night long! We couldn't pull them away. It was a great time!

July 23rd

For my birthday we went to lunch and spent some time at the park. It was really fun! The kids were so cute that day. Jaylee was attacking dad with kisses! Sabree was loving the monkey bars (the park in town doesn't have monkey bars so she's missed them ever since we left Washington). Ollie was chillin' with his shades on!

New Arrival!!!

We had a great time with Che' and Lisa's family. Annie in now 6 months old and the adoption was completed last week. We got to attend the temple sealing and her blessing. She is so beautiful and has tons of hair too!!!

Ok, so it's not my new arrival, thankfully, but it is an addition to our extended family. This is our new niece, Katie. She is Jill's little baby. She has tons of curly dark hair. She is so cute! We got to spend the weekend with her in Orem this past weekend.

Summer!!!

I can't believe we only have one more month left of this summer! Time is flying! We have had a lot of fun. These are some pictures we've taken over the last couple of months.

Sabree participated in a cheerleading camp with her cousins Gracie and Ellie. She loved it! She also got to cheer in the Children's parade and the 4th of July parade.
